Because your baby deserves the best
DIY's don't have to be complicated... I don't do complicated. As a mom to 3 I could easily whip up any of these at 5am while I waited for my coffee to brew... you've got this!
Diaper Cream
1/2 cup shea butter
1/2 cup fractionated coconut oil
1/4 cup Bentonite clay
3 drops Lavender
3 drops Tea Tree
3 drops Frankincense
Melt shea butter with coconut oil over heat then remove from heat and add all other ingredients. Store in air tight container.
Baby Wipes
Roll of paper towel cut in half (I find the Kirkland brand to be the best)
2 + 1/2 cups of warm distilled water
1-2 tbs fractionated coconut oil
6 drops Tea Tree
6 drops Lavender
Place 1/2 the roll into an air tight container. Pour 1/2 cup of water over cardboard insert. Once completely wet remove by pulling up. Then mix all oils into the remaining 2 cups of warm distilled water and pour over paper towel. Add lid and move around to coat paper towel. Remove pieces from the middle as needed.
Not only is this one of my favourites it is a HUGE $ saver
Baby Powder
1/2 cup arrowroot powder
1/2 cup corn starch
1/4 cup finely ground oats (optional)
1 drop Roman Chmomile
2 drops Lavender
note: If you only have Lavender just use 3 drops.
Place all ingredients in a shaker and apply as needed
Teething Oil
2 tbs of coconut oil fractionated coconut oil
1 drop of Lavender OR Copaiba
Place in a sealed contained and applied when needed with q-tip.
If you don't want to apply directly to the gum. no worries. This can still support your baby while applying it to their skin along their jaw line.
Highchair Scrub
1 cup baking soda
2tbs OnGuard Concentrate Cleaner
10 drops Lemon oil
2-3 tbs water
Add baking soda, then cleaner, then oil then 1tbs of water until desired consistency
This is a PERFECT scrub for that highchair (they get so gross... I remember!) It's safe, CLEAN and effective.
Diaper Rash Relief
1/2 cup carrier oil (ex: fractionated coconut oil is most popular. You could also use grapeseed oil or jojoba oil as well)
10 drops Lavender
10 drops Tea Tree
10 drops Frankincense
Small spray bottle
Mix all ingredients into spray bottle. Spray a thin layer directly onto rash area and reapply as needed. This worked amazing when my kids were babies!
Diffuse
These are a few diffuser blends your baby and you are both sure to enjoy.
Having a diffuser in your kitchen or play area with baby is always a beautiful addition to your space.
